2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BE~NARDINO AMENDING SECTION
19.40.020 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO REQUIRE SCREEN-
3 ING AROUND JUNKYARDS AND LIKE USES OF PRC>PERTY.
4 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Paragraph B of Section 19.40.020 is amended
6
to read:

"B. Junkyards and like uses if entirely screened from
8
public view (subject to conditional development permit);"
9
SECTION 2. Paragraph D is added to Section 19.40.020 to
read:
"D. Junkyards and like uses in existence on the date
this paragraph becomes effective are exempt from the screening
requirements of paragraph B. above, until February 1, 1983."
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a
