ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF Sfu~ BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTIONS
2.34.040 AND 5.76.490 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO
TRANSFER FROM THE BUREAU OF FRANCHISES TO THE POLICE COMMISSION
THE DUTY TO REVIEW AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS ON REVISIONS OF THE
CITY'S RATE SCHEDULE FOR TOWING CHARGES.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 2.34.040 of the San Bernardino Municipal
8 Code is amended by adding Subsection G to read as follows:

"G. In January of each year, review the current rate
10 schedule of the California Highway Patrol for towing charges, and
]1 other relevant information, and make recommendations to the Mayor
12 and Common Council for any appropriate revisions of the City's
13 ra te schedule for towing charges."

SECTION 2. Section 5.76.490 Subsection C of the San
]5 Bernardino Municipal Code is hereby repealed.
]6 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly
