ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
5.76.500 SUBSECTION A OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO
PROVIDE FOR AN INCREASE IN RATES FOR AMBULANCE SERVICE.

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 5.76.500 Subsection A of the San
SECTION 1.
7 Bernardino Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:

"A. Ambulance Rates.
9
1. Response to a routine nonemergency call, eighty
10 dollars: nonroutine emergency call, thirty dollars additional;
11
2. Each mile or fraction of a mile, four dollars and
12 se'/enty-fi ve cents;
13
3. On-scene time, one dollar per minute for calls
14 requiring emergency response;
15
4. Night service charge seven p.m. to seven a.m.,
16 twenty dollars;
17
5. Response to a call for ambulance not used, fifteen
18 dollars;
19
6. For each additional patient, fifty percent over
20 c11arge for one patient;
21
7. Carrier shall be permitted in its discretion to fix
22 the rates for special services."
