2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTIONS
10.50.020 and 10.52.040 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE;
3 AUTHORIZING A THIRTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT ON MARSHALL
BOULEVARD BETWEEN LITTLE MOUNTAIN DRIVE AND LADERA ROAD; AND
4 MAKING TECHNICAL CHANGES.
5 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 10.52.020 of the San Bernardino
7
Municipal Code is amended to read:

"10.52.020 Thirty-five miles an hour.
9
In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections
22357, 22358, 22360, and 22413 of the California Vehicle Code,
the Mayor and Common Council do hereby determine and declare,
12
upon the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation, that

a prima facie speed limit of thirty-five miles per hour shall be
]4
established on the following streets or portions thereof in the
15
City:

Atlantic Avenue: between Palm Avenue and Cienega Court.
17
"D" Street: between Sixth Street and Marshall Boulevard.
18
David Way: between Fortieth Street and Forty-fifth Street.
19
"E" Street: between Tenth Street and Highland Avenue.
20
Eucalyptus Avenue: between Mill Street and Rialto Avenue.

Fortieth Street: between Waterman Avenue and Electric Avenue

"G" Street: between Sixth Street and Marshall Boulevard.

Gilbert Street: between Waterman Avenue and a point two
24 hundred seven feet easterly of Cedar Street.

Highland Avenue: between "I" Street and "E" Street; between
Sierra Way and Valencia Avenue.

Inland Center Drive: between "E" Street and a point more or
less one thousand five hundred seventy-five feet southwesterly
of "I" Street.
Marshall Boulevard: between Little Mountain Drive and Ladera

Mt. Vernon Avenue: between Grant Street and Rialto Avenue;

5 Muscott Street: between Fifth Street and Base Line Street.
6 Rialto Avenue: between Muscott Street and Waterman Avenue.
7 Second Street: between Waterman Avenue and Arrowhead Avenue.
8 Third Street: between "I" Street and Viaduct Boulevard.
9 Twenty-first Street: between Waterman Avenue and Perris
Hill Park Road.

Twenty-seventh Street: between "G" Street and Mt. Vernon
11 Avenue.
12 Waterman Avenue: between two thousand one hundred feet north
of Mill Street and Fortieth Street; between Rialto Avenue and a
13 point three hundred feet south of Central Avenue; betwen Rialto
Avenue and Highland Avenue; between Thirtieth Street and Fortieth
14 Street. "

SECTION 2. Section 10.52.040 of the San Bernardino
16 Municipal Code is amended to read:

"10.52.040 Forty-five miles an hour.

In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections
19
22357, 22358, 22360, and 22413 of the California Vehicle Code,
20
the Mayor and Common Council do hereby determine and declare,
21
upon the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation, that
22
a prima facie speed limit of forty-five miles per hour shall be
23
established upon the following streets or portions thereof in the
24
City:

Base Line Street: between a point three hundred sixty feet
westerly of Pennsylvania Avenue and Muscott Street.
26
Central Avenue: between Arrowhead Avenue and a point one
27 hundred feet, more or less, east of Valley View Avenue.
28 Devils Canyon Road: between the north line of Devils Canyon
Park and a point two thousand feet southerly.

Fortieth Street: between Mountain Avenue and Waterman Avenue;
between Electric Avenue and Acre Lane.
Fourth Street: between Tia Juana Street and Mt. Vernon Avenu
Little Mountain Drive: between Twenty-seventh Street and
Marshall Boulevard.
Mill Street: between a point approximately one thousand four
hundred fifty feet westerly of Tippecanoe Avenue and Tippecanoe
Avenue.
Ninth Street: between Waterman Avenue and a point approxi-
mately six hundred feet easterly of Preston Street.
Rialto Avenue: between Eucalyptus Avenue and Muscott Street.
Valencia Avenue: between Thirtieth Street and Fortieth
Street.
Waterman Avenue: from a point approximately six hundred
sixty feet south of Mill Street to a point approximately two
thousand one hundred feet north of Mill Street; between a point
three hundred feet south of Central Avenue and Rialto Avenue."
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a
regular
meeting thereof, held on
the
