ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF S~ BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
9.32.040 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE THAT
PERMITS FOR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON MUNICIPAL PROPERTY SHALL BE
AUTHORIZED BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR RATHER THAN THE MAYOR AND

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 9.32.040 of the San Bernardino Municipal
8 Code is amended to read:

"9.32.040 Exceptions to public consumption.

The drinking or consumption and the offering, giving, or
11 furnishing of alcoholic beverages may be expressly permitted by
12 written authorization from the City Administrator or his designee
13 in any building, facility, park, street or other place owned,
14 leased, operated or under the management and control of the City
]5 of San Bernardino for special events, meetings, conferences or
16 conventions, provided that such authorization shall be requested
17 in writing and if granted, shall be subject to conditions and all
]8 rules, regulations and ordinances of the City, and further
]9 provided that such permit may be modified or summarily revoked at
20 any time by the Mayor, Council, City Administrator or Chief of
21 Police without notice or hearing."
