ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
19.28.020 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO PERMIT SALE OF
SECONDHAND GOODS IN AN ENCLOSED BUILDING WITHOUT A CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT IN A c-3 GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, AND TO PROHIBIT
REPAIRING OF TRUCKS IN EXCESS OF ONE AND ONE-HALF TONS CARRYING
CAPACITY IN A C-3 GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 19.28.020 Subsection B of the San
Bernardino Municipal Code is amended to read:
"B. Retail Stores.
1. Automobile sales, new and used cars including
servicing and repairs conducted entirely within a building;
2. Commercial greenhouses (retail on 1 y) ;
3. Secondhand goods sold entirely wi thin an enclosed
building (no junkyards);
4. Used cars and trailer sales lots (service and
repair facilities conducted entirely within a building)."
SECTION 2. Section 19.28.020 Subsection C Paragraph 17 of
the San Bernardino Municipal Code is amended to read:
"17. Repair garages, including automobile repair, painting,
or upholstering conducted entirely within a building, but
excluding repair of trucks in excess of one and one-half tons
carrying capacity."
