ORDINANCE OF THL (,l'l'Y OF Sl',N BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
3.68.010 SUBSECTION A OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO
PROVIDE THAT No'rICE OF ASSESSMENTS AGAINST REAL PROPERTY SHALL
NAME THE OWNERS AND ENClJi'lBRANCERS AS ASCERTAINED FROM TITLE
RECORDS OR OTHER SOURCES.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 3.68.010 Subsection A of the San
8 Bernardino Municipal Code is amended to read:

"A. Whenever, pursuant to any state statute or city
10 ordinance, it is provided that costs incurred in the abatement of
]1 any nuisance may be assessed as a charge against the real property
12 which is the subject of the nuisance abatement, the city official,
13 hearing officer, board, or commission ordering the abatement shall
]4 file a notice and itemization of the charges, declared to be true
]5 and correct, to be assessed against each specific parcel with the
16 Clerk of the Board of Building Commissioners of the City of San
17 Bernardino. The notice shall identify the property to be assessed
18 by street designation and assessor's parcel number and shall name
]9 the owners dnd encumbrancers as ascertained from latest title
20 records or other sources."
