ORDINANCE NO.
2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
19.56.330 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE PARKING
3 SPACE REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPACT VEHICLES IN THE PARKING DISTRICT.
4 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 19.56.330 of the San Bernardino Munici-

pal Code is hereby amended by adding Subsection C. to read as
follows:

"C. Notwithstanding the provisions of Subsection A of this
9
Section to the contrary, not more than one-third of the required
10
parking spaces for buildings and uses in the Parking District as
11
set forth in Section 19.56.220 may be provided for and used by
12
compact, subcompact or smaller vehicles. Such spaces shall be
13
not less than eight feet in width and not less than seventeen feet
14
in length and shall be permitted a credit equal to 80% of that
15
allowed standard sized parking spaces. Except
as provided
16
herein, all other parking requirements in the Parking District
17
shall apply to such vehicles."
