2 ORDINANCE OF THE CI'I'Y OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
5.04.420 SUBSECTION D OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE
3 CONCERNING TIME FOR PAYMENT OF COLLECTION AGENCY BUSINESS LICENSE
FEES.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
5 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 5.04.420 Subsection D of the San
7 Bernardino Municipal Code is amended to read:

"D. It is specifically provided that for the benefit of the
9 City and the collection of the license that in the event an offer
10 is made to pay the license on or before the first day of July and
11 before the fifteenth day of July of the respective year, then the
12 license may be issued to the applicant upon the payment of fifty
13 percent of the license fee, and the payment of the sum shall be
14 accepted as full and complete payment of the 1 icense."

SECTION 2. For the period beginning January 1, 1982 and
16 ending June 30, 1983, the amount of license fee payable by a
17 collection agency shall be one hundred fifty percent of the annual
18 license fee, subject to the same credit as hereinabove provided,
19 which fee shall cover the entire period from January 1, 1982
20 through June 30, 1983. Any such business commencing operation
21 after July 1, 1983 shall pay one hundred percent of the applicable
22 fee for the period ending June 30, 1983. Any payment heretofore
23 made in accordance with this provision shall be regarded as full
24 compliance with the provision of this ordinance.
