ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING CHAPTER
10.52 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO AUTHORIZE A 30
M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT ON NINTH STREET BETWEEN SIERRA WAY AND "H"
STREET, AND A 35 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT ON SECOND STREET BETWEEN "H"
STREET AND MT. VERNON AVENUE.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 10.52.010 of the San Bernardino Municipal
8 Code is amended to read:

"10.52.010 Thirty miles an hour.
10 In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections
11 22357, 22358, 22360, and 22413 of the California Vehicle Code, the
12 Mayor and Common Council do hereby determine and declare, upon the
13 basis of an engineering and traffic investigation, that a prima
14 facie speed limit of thirty miles per hour shall be established on
15 the following streets or portions thereof in the City:

'E' Street: between Rialto Avenue and Tenth Street.
17
'F' Street: between Thirty-fourth Street and a point six
18 hundred feet north of Thirty-sixth Street.
19
Ninth Street: between Sierra Way and 'H' Street.
Parks ide Drive: between Marshall Boulevard and Thirty-
21 seventh Street."

SECTION 2. Section 10.52.020 of the San Bernardino Municipal
23 Code is amended to read:

'D' Street: between Sixth Street and Marshall Boulevard.

Eucalyptus Avenue: between Mill Street and Rialto Avenue.
Fortieth Street: between Waterman Avenue and Electric
Avenue.
'G' Street: between Sixth Street and Marshall Boulevard.
Gilbert Street: between Waterman Avenue and a point two
hundred seven feet easterly of Cedar Street.
Highland Avenue: between 'I' Street and 'E' Street; between
Sierra Way and Valencia Avenue.
Inland Center Drive: between 'E' Street and a point more or
less one thousand five hundred seventy-five feet southwesterly of
'I' Street.
Marshall Boulevard: between Little Mountain Drive and Ladera
Road.
Massachusetts Avenue: between Base Line Street and Highland
Avenue.
Mill Street: between Bordwell Avenue and Waterman Avenue.
Mt. Vernon Avenue: between Grant Street and Rialto Avenue;
between Seventh Street and Twenty-seventh Street.
Muscott Street: between Fifth Street and Base Line Street.
Rialto Avenue: between Muscott Street and Waterman Avenue.
Second Street: between Waterman Avenue and Arrowhead Avenue;
between 'H' Street and Mt. Vernon Avenue.

Third Street: between 'I' Street and Viaduct Boulevard.

Twenty-first Street: between Waterman Avenue and perris Hill

Twenty-seventh Street: between 'G' Street and Mt. Vernon

Waterman Avenue: between two thousand one hundred feet north
7 of Mill Street and Fortieth Street; betweeen Rialto Avenue and a
8 point three hundred feet south of Central Avenue; between Rialto
9 Avenue and Highland Avenue; between Thirtieth Street and Fortieth
10 Street."
