2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
6.24.030 SUBSECTION A OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE
3 INCREASING LICENSE FEES FOR UNNEUTERED DOGS FROM TWELVE DOLLARS TO
FIFTEEN DOLLARS.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
5 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 6.24.030 Subsection A of the San
7 Bernardino Municipal Code is hereby amended to read:

"A. Each person owning, harboring or having custody or
9
Icontrol of a dog of the age
City, shall obtain annually
of four months or more, within the
10
a license and tag for the dog on or
11 before the first day of July of each year. The license and tag
12 fee for each fiscal year shall be five dollars for a neutered dog
13 and fifteen dollars for a dog which has not been neutered.
14 License and tag fees are payable in advance. If the appropriate
15 fee is not paid prior to August first, a delinquency penalty of
16 ten dollars shall be added to the fee. A fee of one dollar shall
17 be charged for any additional tag issued to replace a lost,
18 stolen, misplaced or damaged tag. A fee of one dollar shall be
19 charged for the transfer of ownership of a licensed dog to a new
20 owner in lieu of a fee for a new license for the remainder of the
21 year in which the transfer occurs."
