ORDINANCE NO. MC-36B
2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ADDING SECTION
5.04.345 TO THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE STATE
3 LICENSE AND CARD REQUIRED FOR PRIVATE PATROL SYSTEMS, ARMORED CAR
SERVICES AND PRIVATE POLICE SYSTEMS.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
5 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 5.04.345 is added to the San Bernardino
7 Municipal Code to read:

"5.04.345 Private patrol system, armored car service and
9 private police system.

A. As a condition to the issuance of a license, the
11 applicant must possess any and all state licenses necessary to
12 engage in the business covered by the business license
13 application, and a copy of the applicant's state license or
14 licenses shall be filed with the City Clerk prior to issuance of a
15 City business license.

B. All employees and persons who will perform services under
17 the license must possess a valid California Department of Consumer
18 Affairs Bureau of Collection and Investigative Services
19 Registration card, on the front of which is endorsed one of the
20 following: responding alarm agent, installing alarm agent,
21 registered guard or permit for exposed firearm. Each licensee
22 shall ensure that a copy of each such valid card is filed with the
23 City Clerk.

C. No license issued under this section may be transferred
25 at any time."
