MC-3% ORDINANCE Of THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ADDING SECTION 19.16.2].0 SIJBSECTION E TO THE SAN BERNARDINO MIJNICIPAL CODE TO GRANT A NONCONFORMING RIGHT TO !,IMITED USE OF AN EXTERNAL ANTENNA FOR MOBILEHOMES IN PARKS ANNEXED INTO THE CORPORATE LnlIT~;, AND I, DECLARING THE URGEllCY THEREOF. For the purposes of this subsection only, a mobilehome 10 , !, is defined as a building or structure when it is located in a 11 , Ii I! mobilehome park annexed into the corporate limits 'r.:1thin five " :1 II years before the enactment date of subsection C hereof (November 1!t'D, 1978), and such mobilehome shall be entitled to a limited ,I ~nonconforming use of one externally attached television antenna II for a period of ten years after such enactment date." ! 12 13 14 15 16 SECTION 2. This ordinance is an urgency measure, which 17 shall take effect and become operative upon its adoption and 18 approval. The facts constituting such urgency are that at the 19 time of the formulation and ~nactment of this ordinance, there 20 are eviction actions in various stages of completion pending 21 against a significant number of the tenants of the affected 22 mobilehome parks. Said actions are based on the mobilehome park 23 operators finding that these tenants are in violation of the 24 regulations of the mobilehome parks prohibiting externally 25 attached television antennae. Violation of such an internal park 26 regulation does not constitute just cause for eviction. And, if 27 corrective action is not Immediately taken, there Vlill occur a 28 ,major disruption of the present harmonious state of relations MC-39ti . . I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a Re''JUlar meeting thereof, held on the 6th day of August , 1984, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Castaneda, Reilly, Hernandez, Marks, Quiel, Frazier, and Strickler.
