ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
19.66.030 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO
PETITION APPROVING ADDITION OR ALTERATION TO BE SUBMITTED WITH
APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE, AND ADDING PROVISIONS TO APPLY WHEN
SUCH PETITION CANNOT BE OBTAINED.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I. Section 19.66.030 Subsection A of the San
8 Bernardino Municipal Code is amended to read:
9
"A. A petition approving such addition or alteration and
10 signed by seventy-five percent of the residents and/or owners of
11 properties within a radius of five hundred feet of the building
12 is presented to the Planning Commission; or if, after a
13 reasonable effort such approval has not been obtained, a signed
14 affidavit establishing that reasonable efforts have been put
15 forth to obtain the signatures of seventy-five percent of the
16 residents and/or owners of properties within a radius of five
17 hundred feet of the building but without success."

19 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San

Bernardino at a regular
