ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTIONS
10.52.030 AND 10.52.050 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE
I ESTABLISHING A SPEED ZONE ON NORTHPARK BOULEVARD OF 40 MPH FROM
IELECTRIC AVENUE TO LITTLE MOUNTAIN DRIVE AND 50 MPH FROM LITTLE
MOUNTAIN DRIVE TO UNIVERSITY PARKWAY.
I THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO

SECTION 1. Section 10.52.030 of the San Bernardino Municipal
8 Code is amended to read:

"10.52.030 Forty miles an hour.
10 In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections
11 22357, 22358, 22360, and 22413 of the California Vehicle Code, the
12 Mayor and Common Council do hereby determine and declare, upon the
I, basis of an engineering and traffic investigation, that the prima
14 facie speed limit of forty miles per hour shall be established on
15 the following streets or portions thereof in the City:

Arrowhead Avenue: Between Esperanza Street and Rialto
17 Avenue; between Seventh Street and Thompson Place; between
18 Thompson Place and Kendall Drive.

Base Line Street: between Sierra Way and Bobbitt Drive;
20 between Muscott Street and 'H' Street.
21 Del Rosa Avenue; between Highland Avenue and a point seven
22 hundred thirty feet northerly; between Marshall Boulevard and
23 Eureka Street; between Foothill Boulevard and Bonita Vista Drive.

'E' Street: between Century Avenue and Benedict Streeet;
25 between Bened ict Street and Rial to Avenue.

Electric Avenue: between Fortieth Street and Northpark

SECTION 2. Section 10.52.050 of the San Bernardino Municipal
Code is amended to read:
"10.52.050 Fifty miles an hour.
In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections
22357, 22358, 22360 and 22413 of the California Vehicle Code, the
Mayor and Common Council do hereby determine and declare, upon the
basis of an engineering and traffic investigation, that a prima
facie speed limit of fifty miles per hour shall be established
upon the following streets, or portions thereof, in the City:
Fifth Street: between Victoria Avenue and a point one
hundred seventy-seven feet east of Lankershim Avenue.
Northpark Boulevard: between Little Mountain Drive and
California State University Parkway.
Waterman Avenue: between Barton Road and a point three
hundred feet south of Central Avenue."
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a regular meeting thereof, held
on the 18th day of Februarv , 1985, by the following
vote, to wit:
