ORDINANCE NO. MC-530
2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING TITLE 5 OF
THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCREASE THE DOLLAR AMOUNT
3 FROM SIXTY DOLLARS TO FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR QUARTERLY OR SEMI-
ANNUAL LICENSE FEES PAYABLE ENTIRELY IN ADVANCE, AND TO ALLOW FOR
4 REISSUANCE OF BUSINESS LICENSES ANNUALLY FROM DATE OF INITIAL
ISSUANCE.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
6 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
7 SECTION 1. Section 5.04.030 Subsection D of the San
8 Bernardino Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
9 "D. Except as specified in Subsection H below, quarterly
10 license fees are due and payable to the City on the first days of
11 January, April, July and October, and expire on the last days of
12 March, June, September and December each year. All business
13 licenses first issued after August 15, 1986, shall be reissued
14 annually from date of initial issuance and the quarterly license
15 fees are due and payable every three months beginning from the
16 date of initial issuance."
17 SECTION 2. Section 5.04.030 Subsection H of the San
18 Bernardino Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
19 "H. Where quarterly or semi-annual license fees due from any
20 business entity total five hundred dollars or less annually, the
21 entire amount shall be due and payable in advance of the first day
22 of January. As to business licenses first issued after August 15,
23 1986, the entire amount shall be due and payable annually from the
24 date the license was initially issued thereon."
25 SECTION 3. section 5.04.075 Subsection B Paragraph 2 of the
26 San Bernardino Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
27 "2. Quarterly licenses: the last day of the first month of
28 the quarter for which such license is due: January 31st, April

1 30th, July 31st and October 30th. Delinquent dates for business
2 licenses first issued after August 15, 1986, are thirty days from
3 the date the fees are due and payable."
