ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING CHAPTER
10.52 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH NEW SPEED
ZONES ON ATLANTIC AVENUE, BASELINE STREET, MILL STREET, PEPPER
AVENUE, RIALTO AVENUE, SIERRA WAY, TIPPECANOE AVENUE, FORTIETH
STREET, ARROWHEAD AVENUE, UNIVERSITY PARKWAY AND "E" STREET.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 10.52.010 of the San Bernardino Municipal
8 Code is amended to read:

"10.52.010 Thirty miles an hour.
10 In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections
11 22357, 22358, and 22360, of the California Vehicle Code, the Mayor
12 and Common Council do hereby determine and declare, upon the basis
13 of an engineering and traffic investigation, that a prima facie
14 speed limit of thirty miles per hour shall be established on the
15 following streets or portions thereof in the City:

'E' Street: between Rialto Avenue and Tenth Street.
17
'F' Street: between Thirty-fourth Street and a point six
18 hundred feet north of Thirty-sixth Street.

Fortieth Street: between Golden Avenue and Mountain Avenue.
Mountain Avenue: between Thirty-ninth Street and Fortieth
21 Street.

Ninth Street: between Sierra Way and 'H' Street."

SECTION 2. Section 10.52.020 of the San Bernardino Municipal
24 Code is amended to read:

Forty-eighth Street: between Electric Avenue and Kendall
Drive.
'G' Street: between sixth Street and Marshall Boulevard.
Gilbert Street: between Waterman Avenue and a point two
hundred seven feet easterly of Cedar Street.
'H' Street: between Base Line Street and Marshall Boulevard.
Highland Avenue: between 'I' Street and 'E' Street, between
Sierra Way and Valencia Avenue.
Hospitality Lane: between Waterman Avenue and "E" Street.
Inland Center Drive: between 'E' Street and a point more or
less one thousand five hundred seventy-five feet southwesterly of
'II Street.
Marshall Boulevard: between Little Mountain Drive and
Waterman Avenue.
Massachusetts Avenue: between Base Line Street and Highland
Avenue.
Mill Street: between Bordwell Avenue and Waterman Avenue.
Mt. Vernon Avenue: between Grant Street and Rialto Avenue,

20 of an engineering and traffic investigation, that the prima facie
21 speed limit of forty miles per hour shall be established on the
22 following streets or portions thereof in the City:
23 Arrowhead Avenue: Between Esperanza Street and Ria1to
24 Avenue, between Highland Avenue and Kendall Drive.
25 Atlantic Avenue: between Palm Avenue and Cienega Court.
26 Base Line Street: between Sierra Way and Del Rosa Avenue,
27 between Muscott Street and 'H' Street.
28 Del Rosa Avenue: between Nineteenth Street and pumalo Street,

21 22357, 22358, and 22360, of the California Vehicle Code, the Mayor
22 and Common Council do hereby determine and declare, upon the basis
23 of an engineering and traffic investigation, that a prima facie
24 speed limit of forty-five miles per hour shall be established upon
25 the following streets or portions thereof in the City:
26 Base Line Street: between a point three hundred sixty feet
27 westerly of pennsylvania Avenue and Muscott Street.
28 Central Avenue: between Arrowhead Avenue and a point one

1 hundred feet, more or less, east of Valley View Avenue.
2 Devils Canyon Road: between the north line of Devils Canyon
3 Park and a point two thousand feet southerly.
4 Fourth Street: between Tia Juana Street and Mt. Vernon

6 Little Mountain Drive: between Twenty-seventh Street and
7 Marshall Boulevard.
8 Mill Street: between a point approximately one thousand four
9 hundred fifty feet westerly of Tippecanoe Avenue and Tippecanoe
10 Avenue.
11 Ninth Street: between Waterman Avenue and a point
12 approximately six hundred feet easterly of Preston Street.
13 Pepper Avenue: between Mill Street and Randall Avenue.
14 Redlands Boulevard: between Gardena Avenue and the east City
15 limit.
16 Rialto Avenue: between Eucalyptus Avenue and Mt. Vernon
17 Avenue.
18 Tippecanoe Avenue: between Mill Street and San Bernardino
19 Avenue.
20 University Parkway: between Cajon Boulevard to I-215
21 Freeway.
22 Valencia Avenue: between Thirtieth Street and Fortieth
23 Street.
24 Waterman Avenue: between a point three hundred feet south of
25 Central Avenue and Rial to Avenue."

27 Code is amended to read:

Northpark Boulevard: between Little Mountain Drive and
California State University Parkway.
university Parkway: between 1-215 Freeway and Northpark
Boulevard.
Waterman Avenue: between Barton Road and a point three
hundred feet south of Central Avenue."
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at an adjourned regular
