ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REZONING A CERTAIN
PARCEL OF LAND, AMENDING THE LAND USE ZONING MAP, WHICH IS
INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE IN SECTION 19.06.020 OF THE SAN
BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE (PETITION NO. 87-12, LOCATED ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF RIALTO AVENUE APPROXIMATELY 1,690 FEET EAST OF
MERIDIAN AVENUE), AND ADOPTING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Chapter 19.06 of the San Bernardino

Municipal Code, the fOllowing described parcel of real property,
approximately 23.4 acres located on the south side of Rialto
Avenue approximately 1,690 feet east of Meridian Avenue is
rezoned from R-2, Two-Family Residential District, to R-1-7200
Single-Family Residential Development:
All that real property situated in the City of San
Bernardino, County of San Bernardino, State of
California, described as follows:
That portion of the North one-half of the
Northeast one-quarter of the Southwest one-quarter
and the Southwest one-quarter of the Northeast one-
quarter of the Southwest one-quarter of Section 7,
Township 1 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino
Meridian, in the City of San Bernardino, County of
San Bernardino, State of California, according to the
Official Plat thereof, lying easterly of and
contiguous to the following described line:
Commencing at the point of intersection of the
center line of Rialto Avenue, with the center line of
Southern Pacific Transportation Company's main track
(Palmdale-Colton), said point being distant South
890 47' 40" West along said center line of Rialto
Avenue and also the northerly line of said Southwest
one-quarter of Section 7, a distance of 844.09 feet
from the Northeast corner of said Southwest one-
quarter; thence North 890 47' 40" East along said
center line of Rialto Avenue, 210.51 feet to a point
in a line parallel with and distant 200.0 feet
southeasterly, measured at right angles, from said
center line of main track and the Actual Point of
Beginning of the line to be described; thence South

point in a line concentric with and distant 200.0
feet easterly, measured radially, from said center
line of main track; thence southerly along said
concentric line on a curve to the left having a
radius of 2091.88 feet and a central angle of 100 24'
15" (tangent to said curve at last mentioned point
bears South 150 56' 41" West) an arc distance of
379.86 feet; thence South 40 10' 16" West 155.40 feet
to a point in a line parallel with and distant 200.0
feet easterly, measured at right angles, from said
center line of main track; thence South 30 30' 33"
West along last said parallel line 496.75 feet to a
point in the southerly line of said Northeast one-
quarter of the Southwest one-quarter of said Section
7.

SECTION 2.
The zoning map, which is incorporated by
reference in Section 19.06.020 of the San Bernardino Municipal
Code, is amended to reflect the change of zone set forth in this
ordinance.
SECTION 3.
The negative declaration for environmental
review, as adopted by the Environmental Review Committee,
attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and incorporated herein by
reference, is hereby approved and adopted.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
