2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
5.76.200 0F THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE FOR
3 AN INCREASE IN RATES FOR TAXICAB SERVICE.
4 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 5.76.200 of the San Bernardino Municioal
7 Code is amended to read:
8 "5.76.200 Rates - Minimum and maximum for taxicab service.
9 A. The rates or fares to be charp,ed the oublic for taxicab
10 service shall be in accordance with and as prescribed by the
11 carrier's permit, the Bureau and the Mayor and Common Council,
12 and shall be not less than the minimum nor more than the maXimUTIl
13 rates which are fixed in this section; provided, however, that
14 dial-a-ride taxicab rates are excepted from the provisions of
15 this section.

17 B. The minimum rate shall be forty-five cents for the one-
18 quarter mile, or flagdrop; ten cents for each additional two-
19 fifths mile or fraction thereof. The minimum waitjng time rate
20 shall be four dollars per hour. The minirnum traffic delay charp,e
21 shall be fifteen cents per minute.
22 C. The maximum rate shall be one dollar ninety cents for
23 the first one-tenth mile, or flagdrop; twenty eight cents for each
24 additional one-fifth mile or fraction thereof. The maximum
25 waiting time rate shall be fifteen dollars per hour. The maximum
26 traffic delay charge shall be twenty five cents per minute.
