2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ADDING SECTION
3.68.015 TO THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO COSTS
3 OF ABATEMENT.
4 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.
Section 3.68.015 is hereby added to the San
Bernardino Municipal Code to read as follows:

3.68.015 Costs of Abatement

Whenever, pursuant to any state statute or city
10
ordinance, it is provided that costs incurred in the
11
abatement of any nuisance or other blight may be assessed
12
as a charge against the real property which is the subject
of the nuisance abatement or to be a personal debt against
any individual, such costs of abatement, however named,
shall include all costs incurred by the City in such
abatement action, including but not limited to all Police
Department, Fire Department, Planning and Bui lding
Services, Code Enforcement, Parking Control, Public
Services, Parks, Recreation, and Community Services, Animal
Control, investigation, City Attorney and other legal
counsel of the City, and City Attorney Investigator costs.
Such costs shall include both regular time and overtime of
City employees and City contract employees. "
