ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING CHAPTER
1.16 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE AND
REESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE SEVEN WARDS OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. This ordinance is adopted in order to

divide the area of the city of San Bernardino into seven
wards pursuant to section 3 of the Charter of said city.
SECTION 2. sections 1.16.020, 1.16.030, 1.16.040,
1. 16.050, 1.16.060, 1.16.070 and 1.16.080 of the San
Bernardino Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as
follows:
"1.16.020 First Ward.
The boundaries of the first ward of the city shall
be as follows:
All that area within the present corporate limits
of the City of San Bernardino described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the present easterly
corporate limits of the City of San Bernardino,
said point being the intersection of the
centerlines of 6th Street and Waterman Avenue;
thence north along said centerline of Waterman
Avenue to the centerline of 9th Street; thence west
along the centerline of 9th Street to the
centerline of Highway 1-215; thence north along the
centerline of Highway 1-215 to the centerline of
the 16th Street Overpass; thence west along the
centerline of the 16th Street Overpass to the
centerline of 16th Street; thence west along the
centerline of 16th Street to the centerline of
Massachusetts Avenue; thence south along the
centerline of Massachusetts Avenue to the
centerline of Base Line Street; thence west along

The boundaries of the fourth ward of the City shall
be as follows:
All that area within the present corporate limits
of the City of San Bernardino described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of
Northpark Boulevard and "F" Street; thence
northwesterly along said centerline of Northpark
Boulevard to the centerline of "H" Street; thence
south along the centerline of "H" Street to the
centerline of 48th Street, said point also being
the corporate city limit line of the City of San
Bernardino; thence east along said corporate city
limit line and following its various courses and
distances to its intersection with the centerline
of "H" Street; thence south and leaving said
corporate city limit line, along the centerline of
"H" Street to the centerline of Kendall Drive;
thence southeasterly along the centerline of
Kendall Drive to the centerline of Arrowhead
Avenue; thence easterly and southerly along the
centerline of Arrowhead Avenue to the centerline of

Beginning.
"1.16.060 Fifth Ward.
The boundaries of the fifth ward of the city shall
be as follows:
All that area within the present corporate limits
of the city of San Bernardino described as follows:
