2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING MUNICIPAL
CODE SECTION 14.08.110 REGARDING THE TIME FOR PAYMENT OF FRANCHISE

4 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. San Bernardino Municipal Code ~ 14.08.110(B) is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"B. Franchise fees are to be paid on or before the 31st day
of March for the preceding calendar year, unless
otherwise directed in the franchise agreement."
SECTION 2. San Bernardino Municipal Code ~ 14.08.110(F) is
hereby amended to read as follows:

"F. In the event that any franchise payment or recomputed
amount is not made on or before the dates specified in
the franchise agreement, or, if no date is specified in
the franchise agreement on or before March 31 of the
subsequent year, grantee shall pay as additional
compensation an interest charge, computed from such due
date, at the annual rate equal to the commercial prime
interest rate in effect upon the due date."
