I ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
5.76.070(B) OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO AN
2 APPEAL TO THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL FROM A DECISION OF THE
BUREAU OF FRANCHISES.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
4 DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS.

6 SECTION I WHEREAS MC 277, adopted by the Council on June 6, 1983, among
7 other actions, repealed San Bernardino Municipal Code Section 5 76.560, which related to an
8 appeal to the Mayor and Common Council from a decision of the Bureau of Franchises; and
9
10 SECTION 2. WHEREAS the need exists to adopt "clean-up" legislation because San
II Bernardino Municipal Code Section 5 76.070 (B) continues to reference Section 5 76.560,
12 although repealed;

SECTION 3 Section 5 76.070(B) is hereby amended to read as follows:
"B Any aggrieved and interested party may appeal to the
Mayor and Common Council from a decision of the Bureau
made pursuant to this section, and the appeal provisions of
Chapter 2.64 shall be applicable to such proceedings."
