1 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING CHAPTER 10.52
OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE THE EXISTING
2 SPEED LIMIT ON SAN BERNARDINO AVENUE BETWEEN TIPPECANOE AVENUE
3 AND MT, VIEW AVENUE FROM FORTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR TO FORTY
MILES PER HOUR.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
5 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
6 SECTION 1: Section 10.52.030 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code IS
7 amended to read as follows:

" 10.52.030 FORTY MILES PER HOUR

In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections 22357, 22358, and
11 22360, of the California Vehicle Code, the Mayor and Common Council do hereby determine
12 and declare upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey that a prima facie speed limit of
13 forty miles per hour shall be established upon the following streets or portions thereof in the
14 City:

ARDEN AVENUE: Between Pacific Street and Highland Avenue
ARROWHEAD AVENUE: Between Esperanza Street and Rialto Avenue; and
between Highland Avenue and Kendall Drive.
ATLANTIC AVENUE: Between Palm Avenue and Cienega Court.
BASE LINE STREET: Between Medical Center Drive and 'H' Street; and
between Sierra Way and Del Rosa Avenue.
CALIFORNIA STREET: Between Base Line Street and Cajon Boulevard.
DEL ROSA AVENUE: Between Del Rosa Drive and Marshall Boulevard.
'E' STREET: Between Century Avenue and Rialto Avenue; and between
Thirtieth Street and Kendall Drive.
ELECTRIC AVENUE: Between Fortieth Street and Northpark Boulevard.
FIFTH STREET: Between Sierra Way and Pedley Road.
'G' STREET: Between Mill Street and Rialto Avenue.
GOLDEN A VENUE: Between Highland Avenue and Lynwood Drive.

TIPPECANOE AVENUE: Between South City Limits and San Bernardino

SECTION 2: Section 10.52.040 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code IS
amended to read as follows:
" 10.52.040 FORTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR

FOURTH STREET: Between Tia Juana Street and Mt. Vernon Avenue.
HUNTS LANE: Between Barton Road and Commercial Road.
LITTLE MOUNTAIN DRIVE: Between Twenty-seventh Street and Northpark
Boulevard.
NINTH STREET: Between Waterman Avenue and a point six hundred (600) feet
east of Preston Street.
PEPPER AVENUE: Between Randall A venue and Mill Street.
