ORDINANCE NO. MC-1111
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING CHAPTER
10.52 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE THE
EXISTING SPEED LIMIT ON MOUNTAIN VIEW AVENUE BETWEEN
FORTIETH STREET AND HILL DRIVE/PINEHURST COURT FROM FORTY
MILES PER HOUR TO THIRTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Section 10.52,020 of thc San Bernardino Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
" 10.52,020 THIRTY FIVE MILES PER HOUR
In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections 22357,
22358, and 22360, of the California Vehicle Code, the Mayor and Common Council do
hereby determine and declare upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey that a
prima facie speed limit of thirty-five miles per hour shall bc established upon the
following streets or portions thereof in the City:
ARROWHEAD AVENUE: Between Seventh Street and Highland Avenue.
'D' STREET: Between Sixth Street and Twenty-Eighth Street.
'E' SREET: Between Tenth Street and Thirtieth Street.
EUCALYPTUS AVENUE: Between Mill Street and Rialto Avenue.
FOOTHILL DRIVE: Between Del Rosa Avenue and Sterling Avenue.
FORTIETH STREET: Between Electric Avenue and Waterman Avenue;
Between Golden Avenue and Mountain Avenue.
FORTY-EIGHTH STREET: Between Kendall Drive and Electric Avenue.
'G' STREET: Between Sixth Street and Marshall Boulevard.
GILBERT STREET: Between Waterman Avenue and a point two hundred
seven feet east of Cedar Avenue.
'H' STREET: Between Sixth Street and Marshall Boulevard.

INLAND CENTER DRIVE: Between a point more or less one thousand
five hundred seventy-five feet southwesterly of 'I' Street and 'E' Street.
'K' STREET: Between Mill Street and Rialto Avenue.
MARSHALL BOULEVARD: Between Little Mountain Drive and
Waterman Avenue,
MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE: Between Base Line Street and Highland
Avenue.
MEDICAL CENTER DRIVE: Between Fifth Street and Base Line Street.
MILL STREET: Between Bordwell Avenue and Watern1an Avenue.
MORGAN ROAD: Between Lakewood Drive and Little Mountain Drive.
MOUNTAIN AVENUE: Between Thirty-Ninth Street and Fortieth Street.
MOUNT VERNON A VENUE: Between Grant Avenue and Rialto Avenue;
Between Seventh Street and Twenty-Seventh Street.
MOUNTAIN VIEW AVENUE: Between Fortieth Street and Hill
DrivelPinehurst Court,
ORANGE STREET: Between Pacific Street and Piedmont Drive.
RIALTO AVENUE: Between Mt. Vernon Avenue and Waterman Avenue.
ROSEWOOD DRIVE: Between Orchard Drive and Tippecanoe Avenue.
SECOND STREET: Between Mt. Vernon Avenue and Waterman Avenue,

SECTION 2: Section 1 0,52.030 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
" 10.52,030 FORTY MILES PER HOUR
