1 ORDINANCE NO. MC-1107
2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
10.16.120 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PARKING
3 OF MOTOR TRUCKS IN A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
4 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
5 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
6 SECTION I. Section 10.16.120 ofthe San Bernardino Municipal Code is hereby amended
7 to read as follows:
8 Section 10.16.120 Prohibiting parking of motor trucks in the residence district.

A.
It is unlawful for the driver, owner or operator of any commercial vehicle having a
manufacturer's Gross Vehicle Weight rating (GVWR) exceeding ten thousand
(10,000) pounds to park, or cause to be parked, any such vehicle upon any public
street, or alley, or on any residentially zoned property, within the residential district
of the City of San Bernardino as defined by Section 515 of the Vehicle Code of the
state,
B,
It is unlawful to park, except for immediate loading and unloading of goods, any
commercial vehicle having a manufacturer's Gross Vehicle Weight rating (GVWR)
exceeding ten thousand (10,000) pounds on residentially zoned property within the
City limits.
C.
Recreational vehicles such as motor homes and travel trailers are exempted from the

provisions of this section.
