2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REPEALING CHAPTERS
2.47 (CENTRAL CITY ADVISORY BOARD), 2.44 (CEMETERY COMMISSION), 2.41
3 (MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD), AND 2.27 (COMMISSION FOR DISABLED
PERSONS) OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE, AND AMENDING
4 SECTION 2.42.020 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING
PARAGRAPH "I" RELATING TO MEETINGS OF THE COMMUNITY TELEVISION
5 COMMISSION.
6 WHEREAS, certain boards and commissions have, over the years, been inactive for various
7 reasons; and
8 WHEREAS, in some cases the programs to be overseen by such boards and commissions
9 have been terminated; and
10 WHEREAS, in other cases the responsibilities of such inactive boards and commissions
11 have been assumed by appropriate city departments in consultation with other active boards and
12 commissions; and
13 WHEREAS, in other cases the responsibilities of such inactive boards and commissions can
14 be assumed by other appropriate active boards and commissions; and
15 WHEREAS, in other cases the responsibilities of such inactive boards and commissions can
16 be assumed by an ad hoc committee, should the need so arise.
17 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
18 DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
19 SECTION 1. Chapter 2.47 (Central City Advisory Board) of the San Bernardino Municipal
20 Code is hereby repealed.
21 SECTION 2. Chapter 2.44 (Cemetery Commission) of the San Bernardino Municipal Code
22 is hereby repealed.
23 SECTION 3. Chapter 2.41 (Main Street Advisory Board) ofthe San Bernardino Municipal
24 Code is hereby repealed.
25 SECTION 4. Chapter 2.27 (Commission For Disabled Persons) of the San Bernardino
26 Municipal Code is hereby repealed.

5 SECTION 5. Section 2.42.020 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code is hereby amended
6 by adding a Paragraph "I" to read as follows:
Notwithstanding Section 2.17.060 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code, the

Community Television Commission shall meet at least once a quarter in
every calendar year (at least once every three months)."
