S 1. Authorization to hire a Temporary Legal Assistant for the period October I,
2003 through December 31, 2003, with no benefits, at $9 per hour, for the
purpose of providing support staff coverage during the absence of the Executive
Secretary due to work-related medical leave. (See Attached)
MOTION A: That the Mayor and Common Council authorize the City
Attorney to hire a Temporary Legal Assistant for the period
October I, 2003, through December 31, 2003, with no benefits,
at $9 per hour, for the purpose of providing support staff
coverage during the absence of the Executive Secretary due to
work-related medical leave;
MOTION B: Authorize the establishment of one (1) position of Temporary
Legal Assistant, Range Temp., $9.00/hour; and
MOTION C: Direct the Human Resources Department to update Resolution
6413, Section 13, to reflect this action.
