Council Members: I am unable to attend tonight's meeting so please accept & read my emailed Public Comments. 1. The public use library computers still are not back up, operational & available to the public & Mr. Erjavek doesn't respond to emails or calls with requests for status. What is going on, why aren't the computers available for the community? My last message to Mr. Erjavek was asking him to advise me/community members if this service was being removed from libraries & he did not respond. I asked this since it has been months that they've been down so I began to wonder if it had been decided to take this service away. Sure would be nice if someone would provide an explanation! 2. I am curious if any of you have visited the animal shelter in person? If not, I request that each of you make an effort to do so. Arrive on your own, unannounced as a normal community member as if you were looking to adopt an animal. This way, you can see for yourself the absolute nightmare it is down there! As several of us continue to speak about, multiple dogs are being crammed into kennels where some end up fighting & actually injuring one another & there have been instances where the animal(s) was euthanized due to injuries from these situations. While I realize that another building is being sought for the purpose of making more room, I feel it is important for you to physically see the situation for yourselves, not just hear it from concerned citizens. I would also like to reiterate that the shelter SHOULD HAVE BEEN PREPARED PRIOR TO ADDING THE ADDITIONAL CITIES FOR ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES & I don't understand why that wasn't the case &/or why there was no repercussion for shelter management for not having properly planned for it! It blows my mind how city employees get away with such heinous behavior/actions but still remain employed!! If I made the outright mistakes that Ms. Watson has made, I would have lost my job long ago!! San Bernardino should follow suit of Riverside & remove Kristine Watson! She has grossly mismanaged funds & procedures causing loss of thousands of innocent lives!!!!!!! Why do you continue to believe her lies??This City should be ashamed!!!!
