A RESOLUTION OF THE HON. MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF TH E CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF AN EASEMENT, ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, FROM TRANSCONTINENTAL INVESTMENT COMPANY, A
CALIFORNIA CORPORATION, AND HALLETT DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, A CALIFORNIA
CORPORATION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: That the City of San Bernardino enter into and
accept an easement from Transcontinental Investment Company and Hallett
Investment Company, to construct, lay, install, use, maintain, repair or
replace at any time, a pipeline, together with gate valves, fire hydrants,
service connections appurtenances related thereto, to convey water to
be used for domestic use, irrigation use, fire protection, and other re-
lated uses, in, over, under and across the property described in the Grant
of Easement, a copy of which is attached hereto.
That the Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is hereby author-
ized to execute said easement on behalf of said City of San Bernardino,
and that the real property therein described be and the same is hereby
dedicated for Water Department use.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be at-
tached to said instrument, and the same be recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of San Bernardino County.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the
Mayor and Council of the City of San Bernardino at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 494,day of July, 1968, by the following vote, to -wit:
