RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY OF THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE PROPOSED TIPPECANOE AVENUE BRIDGE AT THE SANTA ANA RIVER
WITH ASSOCIATED RELOCATION OF TIPPECANOE AVENUE HIGHWAY RIGHT-OF-
WAY AND IMPROVEMENTS TO SAN BERNARDINO AVENUE, BENEDICT STREET
AND CENTRAL AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, THE
COMPATABILITY OF THE PROJECT WITH THE GREATEST PUBLIC GOOD AND
THE LEAST PRIVATE INJURY, AND THE NECESSITY OF THE ACQUISITION
OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR THE PROPOSED PROJECT, WITH
PROVISIONS FOR NOTICE THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Setting Hearing. The Mayor and Common Council
will conduct a public hearing on June 11, 1984, at Q
o'clock.m., or as soon after that time as the matter can be
heard, in the Council Chambers, to hear any affected property
owner who has filed a written request to be heard, pursuant to
Code of Civil Procedure Section 1245.235, concerning the
construction of the proposed Tippecanoe Avenue Bridge and
relocation of Tippecanoe Avenue highway right-of-way and
improvements of San Bernardino Avenue, Benedict Street and Central
Avenue, in association therewith, at the Santa Ana River in the
City of San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, California, and
the acquisition by eminent domain, of certain interests in real
property for the project. Acquisition of property by eminent
domain for this purpose is authorized by Government Code Section
37350.5.
SECTION 2. Notice. The City Clerk shall give notice by
first class mail or personal service to all owners of record of
the property to be acquired by eminent domain. The notice shall
conform to the requirements of Code of Civil Procedure Section
1245.235.

SECTION 3. Affected Property. The property proposed to be
acquired by eminent domain is described in Exhibit "A", attached
to this resolution and incorporated by reference.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a regular meeting thereof, held on the
