BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino do hereby approve the destruction by the Police Department of certain records, more particularly described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein as fully as though set forth at length. SECTION 2. It is hereby found and determined that the records are no longer needed, and that they may be destroyed pursuant to Government Code Section 34090, upon written consent of the City Attorney. PRIN City Attorney -2- V Records scheduled to be destroyed: ' 14 Officer Daily Logs dated prior to 9/1/82 Departmental Receipts issued prior to 9/1/79 Traffic Citations dated prior to 9/1/81 Non -traffic Citations (except PC488/415/594 when citation served as complaint in lieu of arrest) dated prior to 9/1/81 Traffic Accident Reports (except fatals, manslaughters or when in conjunction with or supplemental to an arrest) dated prior to 9/1/79 Incident Reports dated prior to 9/1/81 Missing Person Reports cleared and dated prior to 9/1/81 Each record scheduled for destruction falls within the category and retention period as outlined on our Retention, Microfilming and Destruction Schedule previously approved by the City Attorney's Office as legally adequate. 4 EXHIBIT ,� 75-0264
