Economic Development Division Manager,
Amanda Hernandez, attended ICSC Conference
in San Diego to connect with Southern California
retailers, developers, commercial real estate
representatives, and economic developers.
Staff presented potential investment
opportunities in San Bernardino to a broad
network of interested parties. The City partnered
with Team California to enhance the City’s
exposure.
Ahead of the Dia de Los Muertos event later this month, Public Works
crews built a new drought tolerant, low maintenance, pocket park adjacent
to Campo Santo Memorial Park this week.

Police Continue Crackdown on Narcotics Trafficking
In two separate incidents last week, the SBPD Narcotics Unit stopped vehicles suspected in drug
trafficking and made arrests. In one stop (left) officers found 25 pounds of methamphetamine
concealed in the trunk. In the other, officers found 2,000 Fentanyl Pills and 4 grams of cocaine
concealed in a hidden compartment in a vehicle. The driver also had a firearm.
