Holiday music filled the air while kids of all ages took family
photos, ice skated, enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate, wrote
letters to Santa, decorated ornaments, and looked in
amazement while snow fell

Breeze Airways Expands Locally with Flights from San Bernardino to Phoenix
Last week, Breeze Airways announced they will be launching a third route from San
Bernardino beginning in February with round trip service to Phoenix on Thursdays and
Sundays with fares starting at $38 each way.
After starting service sixteen months ago, Breeze will now offer flights out of SBD to San
Francisco, Las Vegas, Provo, Hartford, and now Phoenix.

Finance Department Receives Excellence Award Finance Department Receives Excellence Award
Today, the City was notified by the Government Finance
Officers Association (GFOA) that it has received the
Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial
Reporting.
The GFOA Certificate of Achievement is the highest form
of recognition in governmental accounting and financial
reporting, and its attainment represents a significant
accomplishment by a government and its management.
Congratulations to the Finance Department!

City Seeking Applicants for $4.6 Million in Community Based Projects
City Seeking Applicants for $4.6 Million in Community Based Projects
The City is seeking community-based organizations to
apply for grant funding totaling over $4.6 million for three
HUD programs it is administering. Applications must be
submitted by 3:00 on January 5, 2024.
The City anticipates having available grant funds for public
services and neighborhood facilities, Owner-occupied
home improvements, and homelessness and housing
assistance.

and Junk Removal!
For the past two months, in partnership
with our Public Works Department,
Carlos Jurado and his staff from Los
Hauling and Junk Removal have been
volunteering on Fridays to clean up
San Bernardino on top of their normal
business operations.
Thank you to Carlos and your crew! You
are making a difference!
