County Supervisors Approve $3M for City Homeless Navigation Center
County Supervisors Approve $3M for City Homeless Navigation Center
The County Board of Supervisors approved spending $3 million to help the City of San
Bernardino construct our Homeless Navigation Center. This is part of the County’s effort to
forge partnerships and strategies with impacted cities to expand homeless services,
housing, and mitigation efforts.
These funds will augment the $18 million that
the City Council has already committed to the
project and fully funds the estimated $21
million cost to construct the Navigation
Center.
We express our appreciation to the County
for approving this funding.

New Mobile Pet Clinic Delivered
This week, the Animal Services Department received its new mobile pet clinic vehicle. This
vehicle will allow critically needed procedures, including microchipping, vaccinations, and
spay/neuter to be performed throughout the City, instead of just at the Animal Shelter.
The vehicle still needs to be fully equipped and should be ready for action soon.
The mobile pet clinic was made possible by a
generous gift from the San Manuel Band of
Mission Indians.
