Mayor Tran and Assembly Member Ramos testified on behalf of the bill, which would allow the State to lease a portion of Patton Hospital to house and treat homeless with mental health issues. Owner Jamal Moreno was surprised when Economic Development staff presented him with a $25,000 check for completing the requirements of the City’s Small Business Grant Program. Big Day for a Local Business San Bernardino Kids Go Camping Last week, 28 youth from San Bernardino went on a five-day, four-night camping trip to Wrightwood’s Camp Elk as part of the Parks and Recreation Back-2-Nature Program. Funded through the California Outdoor Equity Grant Program, Back 2 Nature is designed to remove all barriers that would otherwise keep kids from enjoying the outdoors. Free equipment, transportation, and food were provided.
