Wings on Hospitality Lane temporarily closed to
remodel their restaurant. They reopened on
December 6.
In the six months since reopening, they
have reported that their sales are number one
in the entire Buffalo Wild Wings chain of over
1,280 restaurants!
Congratulations to Braulio Sifuentes and the entire
crew at the SB BWW! Investing in San Bernardino
pays off!
City Receives $963,000 for State-of-the-Art
Security Cameras
Last week, Congressman Pete Aguilar
presented city officials with a symbolic
check representing $963,000 that was part
of the recently approved 2023-2024 Federal
budget.
The funds will help fund a new SBPD
security camera system in downtown San
Bernardino that will include data analytics
that can be used by the Department to both
monitor activity and assist with criminal
investigations.
San Bernardino has been notified that the Arbor Day Foundation has designated
the city as a Tree City USA. Congratulations to City Arborist Matt McDonald and the
team at Public Works for their work obtaining this designation.
This designation recognizes a city’s commitment to maintaining and growing its
urban forest, which helps provide shade, health, aesthetic, and cooling benefits.
Only about 3,600 of 19,500 cities in the U.S. have achieved this designation.
San Bernardino Named a Tree City USA!
This year's theme, "Investing in our Future", will spotlight recent and upcoming
public and private investments in San Bernardino and the positive impacts they are
having on the city. The event will also feature one of Southern California's
preeminent economists, Christopher Thornberg of Beacon Economics, who will
provide a forecast of our local, regional, and national economy. Tickets on sale soon.
