Continuation of May 15, 2024 Public Hearing: Presentation of
the City Manager’s Proposed FY 2024/25 & FY2025/26 Budget
Supplemental Information for Item No. 7
1. Staff is providing Supplemental Information for Item #7. The City Manager has
informed the Mayor, Council Member Sanchez (Ward 1), and Council Member
Calvin (Ward 6) present at the Agenda Review meeting on June 3, 2023 that the
following items will be discussed altogether during the Public Hearing of Item #7:
A. Item #7: Continuation of the Public Hearing;
B. Item #30: Commercial Cannabis Regulatory Program Update; and
C. Item #31: Approval of the City Manager’s FY2024/25 & FY2025/26
Operating and CIP Budget.
2. Staff is providing Supplemental Information for Item #7. The City Manager has
informed the Mayor, Council Member Sanchez (Ward 1), and Council Member
Calvin (Ward 6) present at the Agenda Review meeting on June 3, 2023 that
although PowerPoint presentations are normally attached as an Exhibit to Staff
Reports when provided to City Council, the PowerPoint presentation for the
Proposed FY2024/5 & FY2025/26 Operating & CIP budget is going through one
more thorough review and will be sent to City Council on June 4, 2024 once
finalized.
Council Member Sanchez asked if what was requested at the last council meeting
will be provided on June 5, 2024. Staff replied that based on Council’s request the
following were added as attachments to Item #7:
A. Attachment 3 – FY2023-24 Authorized Personnel Summary (by department,
listing each authorized position, vacant or filled);
B. Attachment 4 – Proposed FY2024/25 & 2025/26 General Fund budget by
Department and Program, with Status Quo Budget (current year); and
C. Attachment 5 – Strategic Initiatives approved positions update (by
department, listing each approved position, vacant or filled).
