(1358 W. 5th Street, 2061 W. 17th Street, 1972 W. 18th Street, 4 979 North G Street, 981 North G Street, .599 N. Mt. Vernon Avenue) . 5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY 6 OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 7 SECTION 1. The City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its 8 authority under San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter 15.28, and 9 other laws, did lawfully cause public nuisance abatements on the 10 real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and 11 incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth. The 12 last known owners of record as to each such parcel are also 13 specified in Exhibit "A". 14 Due notice was given to, the person or persons having an 15 interest in said property and a hearing was held by the Board of 16 Building Commissioners to hear protests and to assess the costs 17 of said abatements on said property. The Board of Building 18 Commissioners has entered its order determining the costs to be 19 reasonable and proper and imposing a lien upon the land involved. 20 Notice of the right to appeal to the Mayor and Common Council has 21 been issued to all affected property holders. The Board of 22 Building Commissioners now request that the Mayor and Common 23 Council confirm the imposition of the lien. 24 SECTION 2. If said sum is not fully paid to the City Clerk, 10 City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after the 11 adoption of this resolution as to any such individual parcel, 12 then said sum shall be and become a lien on said property 13 pursuant to said Municipal Code provisions and applicable laws 14 and shall be collected as a s.pecial assessment thereon. 15 SECTION 4. In the event said sum is not paid as hereinabove 16 provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified 17 copy of this resolution with the Auditor of the County of San 18 Bernardino, State of California, directing that said sum be 19 entered as lien charges against said property as it appears on 20 the current assessment rolls, to be collected at the same time 21 and in the same manner, subject to the same penalties and 22 interest upon delinquencies, as the general taxes for the City of 23 San Bernardino are collected.
