STAFF REPORT
8~E~8~~~~: Vehicle abatement - 1098 West Fifth Street
A complaint was received in regards to over 20 inoperative
buses being stored at 1098 West Fifth Street. An inspection
was conducted on March 27, 1986 and notices for abatement
were issued by certified mail, (per Municipal Code 8.36.090).
Compl iance was to Ibe atcompl Ished by Apri I 10, 1986. Prior
to Apri I 10, 1986, Mr. Duffy, (owner of the buses) requested
a ~!paring before the Fire Chief, (Municipal Code 8.36.110).
On April 7,1986, a hearing was held before Fire Chief,
Gerald M. Newcombe. The result of the hearing was to contin-
ue with the abatement of the buses.
