OF SAN BERNARDI, 0 - REQUfT FOR COUNCIL AC~ ON STAFF REPORT The Water Department staff have been meeting with the devel- opers of Tract No. 11857 and City Engineering Division rep- resentatives, concerning alignment of Sterling Avenue north of Foothill Drive. The City owns land that has been dedicated for Water Department use adjacent to the east boundaries of Tract 11857. The alignment of Sterling Avenue has been agreed to by all parties, but does require the exchange of land to finalize the transaction. The exchange requires Redlands Financial Services to deed Lots "A" and "C" of Tract 11857 to the City and the City would deed Lot "B" of Tract 11857 to the owner, Redlands Financial Services. The properties proposed for this exchange are of equivalent value and are estimated to be less $2,000.00 in value. Exhibit "1" depicts the location of the lots proposed for exchange. The street improvements will provide additional access to the Department's property. A RESOLUTION OF THE HAYOR AND COHMON COUNCIL, CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, AUTHORIZING AN EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF FOOTHILL BLVD. AND STERLING AVE1~E WITH REDLANDS FINANCIAL SERVICES, INC. BE IT RESOLVED by the Hayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino as follows: SECTION 1. The City accepts the interest in real property conveyed by grant deed from Redlands Financial Services, Inc., a California Corporation, said particularly property more described as Lot "A" and "CO, Tract No. 11857, in the City of San Bernardino, County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per plat recorded in Book 185 of Haps, pages 42-49 inclusive, records of said county. A copy of said Corporation Grant Deed is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and made a part hereof as fully as though set forth at length herein. The real property accepted by Corporation Grant Deed set forth hereinabove is dedicated for Water Department use. SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to executea.Corporation Grant Deed, a copy of said Corporation Grant Deed being attached hereto marked Exhibit "B" and made a part hereof as fully as though set forth at length herein, conveys the City's interest in real property to Redlands Financial Services, Inc., a California corporation.
