Recommen<Jed motion:
1. That minutes of Greenbelt Committee meeting held January 28,
1986 be received and filed.
2. That Committee recommended actions be approved and appropriate
departments implement these actions as necessary and as soon as
possible.

GREENBELT COMMITTEE
January 28, 1986
ATTENDEES: Councilman Gordon Quiel; Councilman Steve Marks;
Deputy City Administrator-: Ray Schweitzer; Planning Director
Frank Schuma, Principal Planner - Vincent Bautista; RDA
Executive Director - Glenda Saul; Council Executive Assistant
- Phil Arvizo; Mayor's Project Coordinator - Gregory Garcia;
Ms. Joy Kolstad.
1. STATUS REPORT - GREENBELT STUDY The Committee
reviewed the report by the Planning Department. The Commit-
tee recommended a change regarding necessity for a fully
dedicated and improved second access. The recommendation, to
be presented to the full Council on February 17, 1986 will
give second access authority on a case-by-case basis to the
City Fire Chief to insure that appropriate fire safety
standards be maintained as a condition of development.
