2 ORDINANCE OF THF. CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTIONS
10.52.020 AND 10.52.030 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO
3 CHANGE MT. VERNON AVENUE, BETWEEN SEVENTH STREET AND TWENTY-
SEVENTH STREET, FROM 35 PMH TO 40 MPH; TO INCLUDE NEWLY
4 INCORPORATED TERRITORY ON DEL ROSA, BETWEEN NINETEENTH STREET AND
CITRUS AVENUE, AT 40 MPH; AND TO CHANGE "D" STREET, BETWEEN TWENTY-
5 EIGHTH STREET AND MARSHALL BOULEVARD, FROM 35 MPH TO 25 MPH.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DO
7 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
8 SECTION 1. Section 10.52.020 of the San Bernardino Municipal
9 Code is amended to read:
10 "10.52.020 Thirty-five miles an hour.
11 In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections
12 22357, 22358, 22360, and 22413 of the California Vehicle Code, the
13 Mayor and Common Council do hereby determine and declare, upon the
14 basis of an enginaering and traffic investigation, that a prima
15 facie speed limit of thirty-five miles per hour shall be
16 established on the following streets or portions thereof in the
17 City:
18 Atlantic Avenue: between Palm Avenue and Cienega Court.
19 'D' Street: between sixth Street and Twenty-Eighth Street.
20 'E' Street: between Tenth Street and Highland Avenue.
21 Eucalyptus Avenue: between Mill Street and Rialto Avenue.
22 Fortieth Street: between Waterman Avenue and Electric
23 Avenue.
24 Forty-eighth Street: between Electric Avenue and Kendall

1 In accordance with and pursuant to the authority of Sections

10 Base Line Street: between Sierra Way and Bobbitt Drive;
11 between Muscot t Street and I H I Street.
12 Del Rosa Avenue: between Nineteenth Street and pumalo Street;
13 between two hundred feet south of Date Street and Citrus Street;
14 between Marshall Boulevard and Eureka Street; between Foothill
15 Boulevard and Bonita Vista Drive.
16 'E' Street: between Century Avenue and Rialto Avenue.
17 Electric Avenue: between Fortieth Street and Northpark
18 Boulevard.
19 Fifth Street: between Waterman Avenue and Sierra Way.
