STAFF REPORT
The Mayor and Common Council approved the following major arteries for recon-
struction from funds previously allocated:
"E" Street, from Mill to Second Street
Seirra Way, from Third Street to Sixth Street
Fifth Street, from Sierra Way to Arrowhead Avenue
Waterman Avenue, from Highland Avenue to 29th Street
Highland Avenue, from Harrison to Del Rosa Avenue
Arrowhead Avenue, from Third Street to Sixth Street
Bunkerhill, from Mill Street to Hillcrest
Giovanola, from Rialto Avenue to Belleview
Cluster, from Sierra Way to Arrowhead Avenue
Before these streets can be resurfaced, the City must contract for scarifying,
planing, area removal and placement of rejuvenating oil. The estimated square
yardage to be completed is 120,000 for a total cost of $219,450.
To prevent delays in completing the work, we are requesting that the Purchas-
ing Agent be authorized to advertise for bids at the earliest possible time.
Source of funding will be from the balance of the $295,000 General Funds mon-
ies allocated for this type of work with the remainder to be taken from the
first $460,000 SB300 Funds already received by the City.
