Synopsis of Previous Council action:
The City Attorney's Office was directed to prepare a Change of Zone
for Petition No. 85-14, at the meeting of September 23,1985.
Recommended motion:
Waive further first reading of the ordinance and layover for
final adoption upon receipt from the San Bernardino County
Flood Control District of deed restriction requiring a solid
decorative wall to be constructed on the perimeter of the
property at the time of development and landscaping at the
time development occurs on residentially zoned property.
(Second reading should not be scheduled until City Attorney receives
a copy of recorded deed restriction.)

2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REZONING A CERTAIN
PARCEL OF LAND, AMENDING THE LAND USE ZONING MAP, WHICH IS
3 INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE IN SECTION 19.06.020 OF THE SAN
BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE (PETITION NO. 85-14, LOCATED BETWEEN
4 FIFTH STREET AND SEVENTH STREET, HAVING A FRONTAGE OF
APPROXIMATELY 420 FEET ON THE NORTH SIDE OF FIFTH STREET, AND 677
5 FEET ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF SEVENTH STREET, AND BEING LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY 165 FEET WEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF FLORES STREET),
6 AND ADOPTING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW.

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Chapter 19.06 of the San Bernardino
Municipal Code, the real property described in Exhibit BAB,
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, located
between Fifth Street and Seventh Street, having a frontage of
approximately 420 feet on the north side of Fifth Street, and 677
feet on the south side of Seventh Street, and being located

approximately 165 feet west of the centerline of Flores Street,

is rezoned from BOB Open Space to PRD-5, Planned Residential
16
Development at five units per acre.

SECTION 2. The zoning map, which is incorporated by
reference in Section 19.06.020 of the San Bernardino Municipal

Code is amended to reflect the change of zone set forth in this
21
ordinance.

SECTION 3. The negative declaration for environmental
review, as adopted by the Environmental.Review Committee,
24
attached hereto, marked Exhibit B8B, and incorporated herein by
25
reference, is hereby approved and adopted.

All those portions of Lots 13, 1~, 15, 16 and 17, Block 23, and of Lot 1,
Block 9~, both of Rancho San Bernardino, as per plat recorded in Book 7 of Haps,
page 2, records of San Bernardino County, lying within the following described
parcel of land:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of Fifth Street (82.5 feet wide, as
shown on County Surveyor's Hap No. 7102 on fUe in the Office of the County
Surveyor of San Bernardino County), said point being distant along said centerline,
North 890 23' 19" West, 561.70 feet from a one-half inch iron pipe marking ttre
intersection thereof with the centerline. of Flores Street (50 feet wide),. as
shown on plat of Tract 2291, recorded in map Book 33, page 11, records of said
