STAFF REPORT
The Fine Arts Commission met in Committee Friday, November 1. 1985.
At that time, the recommendation was made to Council to allocate
grant request of $17,000 to the Community Arts Production for use
of their presentation, "The Nutcracker" to be held the middle of
December.
Due to musician's contracts, stage contracts, etc., payments to
the various entities must be settled by December 8, 1985. Hence,
the urgency to have this request processed at this time. Our City
system needs 2-3 weeks to process a grant allocation.
