CM OF SAN BERNARICtO - REQlA.BT FOR COUNCIL AbJlON
STAFF REPORT
The Police Department has worked with the San Bernardino County
Office on Aging since May 28, 1984. During that time, through
the Senior Community Service Project,(SCSP) the Office on Aging
has supplied the department a senior citizen to help with clerical
work in the Records Bureau. The Office on Aging has paid that
person an hourly wage, and the department has used the person
to microfilm police records.
The program has been a success for the Police Department and
provided a part-time job for a senior citizen.
The Office on Aging asks that the department, through the
Chief of Police, sign a worksite letter of agreement and the
Police Department requests that the Common Council approve the
resolution.
