STAFF REPORT
Tentative Parcel Map 8999 was approved by the Planning Commission on
January 22. 1985.
Parcel Hap 8999 is a 3-parcel subdivision.
The Subdivider has indicated that they will bring in a Bond.
Certificate of Insurance. and fee will be paid prior to Council
meeting. Also. the Improvement and Grading Plans have been prepared
and wi 11 be approved.
The Final Map has been reviewed and found to be substantially in
compliance with the tentative map and the Subdivision Hap Act.
Therefore. we recommend that the Final r1ap be approved.
URGENCY CLAUSE:
The Developer has a commitment from a
financial institution for construction
loan- which will expire on October 31.
1985. It is imperative that the nap be
recorded as quickly as possible in_order
to avoid losing this loan.' -

RESOLUTION NO.
85-438
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO APPROVING THE
PARCEL MAP FOR SUBDIVISION PARCEL MAP 8999. LOCATED ON THE EAST
SIDE OF WATERMAN AVENUE ANO THE NORTH SIDE OF rHLL STREET. 230
FEET EAST OF WATERMAN AVENUE. ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC DEDICATIONS
AS SET FORTH ON SAID MAP; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE
STANDARD FORM OF AGREEMENT FOR THE IMPROYEMENTS IN SAID
SUBDIVISION. WITH TIME FOR PERFORMANCE SPECIFIED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMr~ON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The Mayor and Common Council find that
proposed Subdivision Parcel Map 8999. located on the East side
of Waterman Avenue and the North side of Mill Street. 230 feet
East of Waterman Avenue. together with the prOVisions for its
desi9n and improvements is consistent with the General Plan of
the City of San Bernardino.
SECTION 2: The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is
authorized on behalf of said City to execute the standard form
of agreement adopted by Resolution No. 84-4 with the Vanir
Development Company. Inc. for the improvements in said
Subdivision Parcel as are required by Title 18 of the San
Bernardino Municipal Code and the California Subdivision Map
Act. The time for performance is specified at 24 months. Said
improvements are specifically described and shown on the
Drawing. approved and on file in the Office of the City
Engineer of the City of San Bernardino.
SECTION 3: The Parcel ~'ap of said Subdivision Parcel
is hereby approved and the City of San Bernardino hereby
accepts as pUblic property all dedications within the
Subdivision as shown on said Parcel r1aps for streets. alleys.
(including access rights). drainage and other public easements.

As a condi~ion precident to approval of the Parcel Map. the
Subdivider shall first execute the agreement referenced in
Section 2 hereof for the improvements within said Subdivfsion.
The City Clerk shall certify the approval and acceptance of the
Mayor and Common Council as set forth in this resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a reaular meeting thereof. held on
the ::>'"t- day of October . 1985. by the
following vote to-wit:
