April II. 1985 Tim Sabo Letter, April 12. 1985 Private Return Public Participation -5- \ /"" ~, ......... , > No. 118 Jan. 1984 MEMORANDUM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA DATE October I, 1985 TO Shauna Clark City Clerk Ken Henderson, Manager &61J Community Development Division FROM ACTION TAKEN BY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION September 30, 1985 SUBJECT Shauna, after the Redevelopment Agency Workshop was completed on the date noted above, Councilman Dan Frazier brought before the Council an action item relating to financal assistance for West Side Community Development Corporation (WSCDC). After some discussion the Commission voted 5-0 (Marks. Stricker absent) to adopt the following motion: "That the Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Bernardino execute a letter of commitment to West Side Community Development Corporation that the Redevelopment Agency will lend $100,000 to West Side Community Development Corporation, forthwith, contingent upon evidence that the Redevelopment Agency would be secured by a second trust deed, second only to Chino Valley Bank in an amount not to exceed $360,000, with no other liens to remain unpaid after closing of such loan, and contingent upon proof that West Side Community Development Corporation has a valid commitment for take-out financing in an amount of at least $550,000. Further, that the Redevelopment Agency loan of $100,000 shall be paid from the take-out loan of 5550,000, and that subject item be brought before the Community Development Commission at its regularly scheduled meeting of October 7, 1985."
