CITY OF SAN BERNARDllwb - REQUa$T FOR COUNCIL Acl10N
STAFF REPORT
From January through July 1985 the Westside Drop-In Center administered
a grant of $13,250 of emergency food and shelter funds from Public Law 98-396.
There were over 300 families served during that period. Those funds are now depleted.
There continues to be a need to assist families with emergency food and shelter needs.
The Pacific Telesis Group has indicated an interest in helping families in emergency
situations through the Westside Drop-In Center. The criteria used in Public Law
98-396 (FEMA) Program will be used in the program.
The program will be coordinated through the Finance Dept.
